How to Build a DTF Gang Sheet Online (Step-by-Step)
With an online gang sheet builder you can lay out all your DTF transfers on one 22-inch sheet without any design software, see the exact size and price as you go, and check out in minutes. Here's how it works on The Wear's free builder.
Step 1: Upload your designs
Add PNG, JPG, WebP, SVG, PDF, AI or PSD files up to 100 MB each. PNG with a transparent background works best. The builder trims empty edges automatically and can remove a solid background in one click.
Step 2: Choose sizes and copies
Set each design's print size in inches or tap a preset such as left chest, full front or hat, then choose how many copies you need. The builder shows whether each design will print sharp at that size; 300 DPI is ideal.
Step 3: Arrange the sheet
Tap Auto-arrange to pack everything onto the least film, or drag, resize and rotate designs by hand. You can also add text in hundreds of fonts, or paste a team list to create names and numbers. Each sheet holds up to 250 inches; when it's full, the next sheet opens automatically.
Step 4: Check the price
You pay $0.055 per square inch for the length you use on a 22-inch-wide sheet, rounded up to the next inch with a 24-inch minimum. For example, a 22 × 100 inch sheet is $121. Orders of $350 or more ship free anywhere in Canada, and returning customers get 15% off DTF.
Step 5: Approve and check out
Review any quality warnings, approve your sheet and check out securely. Built sheets are printed exactly as approved, produced in 1–3 business days at our Brampton production floor and shipped across Canada and the USA.
Tips for the best transfers
- Use transparent PNGs or vector files so nothing prints as a box.
- Keep text large enough to read; very thin lines can be fragile.
- Upload artwork the right way round: there's no need to mirror it.
