Why embroidery is the standard for hats
A cap gets handled, sweated in and thrown in a bag. Thread holds up to that far better than a print, keeps its colour and gives the raised, premium look people expect from a branded hat. That's why most of the hats we decorate are embroidered.
If your design is a full-colour graphic or a photo, embroidery isn't the right fit. DTF transfers can carry fine detail and gradients on many cap styles, and we'll tell you honestly which method suits your artwork.
Choosing the right cap
Trucker caps (mesh back, like the Richardson 112) are the most requested for brands and events. Structured snapbacks (like the Yupoong 6089) give a flat, sharp front panel for bold logos. Unstructured dad hats are softer and suit smaller, cleaner marks. Toques are the Canadian winter favourite, with the logo on the cuff.

Getting your logo ready
Send a vector file (SVG, PDF, AI or EPS) if you have one; a high-resolution PNG works too. We convert it to a stitch file and you approve a digital proof before anything is stitched. A digitizing fee may apply for a new logo, and we'll include it in your quote.
The front panel is the classic placement. Very small lettering can lose definition in thread, so we flag anything that needs resizing before production.

- Is there a minimum order for custom embroidered hats?
- No. You can order a single embroidered hat or several hundred. The price per hat drops as the quantity of one style goes up.
- How long does custom hat embroidery take?
- Once you approve the digital proof, our typical production window is 24–72 hours depending on the quantity, then shipping time to your address. Tell us your deadline when you ask for a quote.
- Do you embroider hats for customers outside Toronto?
- Yes. We produce in Brampton and ship anywhere in Canada and the USA with tracking. Orders of $350 or more ship free within Canada.
- Can I mix hat colours and styles in one order?
- Yes. Mix colours and styles with the same logo; we'll quote each style at the quantity you order.
- Can you embroider hats I already own?
- Ask our team. We confirm customer-supplied hats case by case before accepting them, because some fabrics and constructions don't hoop well.
